Revolutionary automatic sorting line in the Czech Republic

In the modern world, where sustainability and environmental responsibility are increasingly our goals, it is important to look for innovative solutions for efficient waste sorting. An important milestone in this area is the recently designed, drawn, manufactured and assembled first automatic sorting line in the Czech Republic. This sorting line, located in Brno and operated by SAKO Brno, is capable of sorting an incredible 4.5 tons of waste per hour. Let's take a closer look at this revolutionary technology and its importance for environmental protection.

Development of sorting technologies

Ever since mankind began to produce waste, we have been forced to look for ways to efficiently sort and recycle it. Manual sorting was the initial method, but as technology developed, new options emerged. Automating waste sorting has become a priority because it can increase the efficiency and accuracy of sorting, while reducing the burden on workers and minimizing human error.

Design and construction of the first automatic sorting line

A team of experts from VÚMZ SK decided to implement this ambitious project. Long months of hard work, research and development led to the design and construction of this first automatic sorting line in the Czech Republic. Engineers and designers took into account not only technical aspects, but also environmental and safety factors.

The sorting line is composed of several modules that work in harmony and optimize the waste sorting process. Devices equipped with sensors and advanced algorithms enable the identification of different materials, colors and shapes. The result is an efficient sorting of municipal plastic waste.
